Applications are invited from Indian male candidates possessing educational qualifications and age as prescribed below for recruitment to the post of Navik {Domestic Branch (Cook & Steward)} in the Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union.

Eligibility Condition and Job Requirement:- (COAST GUARD NAVIK)

(a) Educational Qualification-  (INDIAN COAST GUARD NAVIK)


  • Passed class 10 Exam in Any Recognized Board in India
  • किसी भी मान्यता प्राप्त बोर्ड से १०वीं  पास 

(b) Job Requirement- (Indian Coast Guard Navik)

(i) Cook- They would be required to prepare food as per menu (both vegetarian and non-vegetarian including handling of meat products) and accounting of ration. In addition, they will also be allotted other duties for the efficient running of the organization.
(शाकाहारी और मांशाहारी भोजन बनाना + राशन का एकाउंटिंग करना +other duties)
(ii) Steward-They would be required to serve food in the Officer’s messes as waiters, housekeeping, maintenance and accounting of funds, wine and stores handling, preparation of the menu, etc. In addition, they will also be allotted other duties for the efficient running of the organization.
(खाना परोश्ना + वेटर + साफ सफाई + एकाउंटिंग +स्टोर देखरेख + मेनू बनाना +other duties)

(c) Age Limit- (Indian Coast Guard Navik)

18-22 as on 01-04-2020
